Career Information For Your Major.  Research academic disciplines and their related career areas, types of employers, and strategies for getting into the field. In addition to majors you'll find at MGA, you can also research fields you would study in graduate/professional school after you receive your bachelor's degree. Fields include law, medicine, healthcare sciences, counseling, medicine, engineering, and many others. .

Virtual Mock Interview Platform and Resume Builder with AI Feedback.  Our staff is still here to facilitate practice interviews and to provide guidance to you on resume writing, but we know that there are times when you need additional practice and assistance.  You can use multiple question sets to record and review how you're interviewing.  The platform also has a resume builder to help you make sure you are using the keywords for your field in relation to the experience you have.

MGA Post-Graduation Outcomes

Are you curious about where MGA graduates go after they obtain their degrees?  Visit MGA's Post-Graduation Outcomes page to access a variety of tools.  To make sure your MGA career outcome is included in the data when you graduate, please take the First Destination Survey at graduation.  In addition, develop a LinkedIn profile and update it each time you change professional positions.  Aggregative data is most often pulled from LinkedIn and other public profiles.

Mock Interviews The CCLD offers the opportunity to develop your interview skills during one-on-one appointments with the staff.  .  We provide coaching that helps you identify the skills and experiences you need to discuss for the type of position you are seeking.  We work with all majors!  And yes, we do STAR interviews.  You can also use to practice on your own.

Leadership is a skill you need in your personal, campus, professional, and civic life.  The CCLD offers five key leadership development experiences for current students.

Internship & Career Opportunities

Each year, the CCLD hosts 9+ career fairs that connect students and alumni with over 200 employers and graduate programs. Check to find these fairs plus thousands of jobs and internship listings, the Virtual Internship Series, and Student Leadership Conference.  You'll also see a variety of Fortune 500 companies offering virtual information sessions on Handshake.  We also work with you individually to help you craft a networking plan that works for you.

We recently launched the Knights@Work program for students who want to complete a non-credit internship that complements what they are already doing in their academic program.
