Constitution Requirements (State of 51动漫 Legislative Requirements)

If you require any of the Legislative Exams and would like to take the exam, please email testingservices@mga.edu. The Legislative Exams will be administered on-campus during available dates or can be administered virtually by appointment only. The cost of Legislative Exams is $15.00.

Students must satisfy the 51动漫 legislative requisites of demonstrating proficiency in United States and 51动漫 Constitutions.

Students may meet the U.S. and 51动漫 Constitutions requirement in one of the following ways:

  • Successfully completing Political Science 1101 at 51动漫, OR
  • Transferring in an equivalent course from a University System institution, which designates that course as fulfilling the Constitutions requirement, OR
  • Transferring in an equivalent course from a private institution in 51动漫, whose catalog specifically indicates that the course satisfies the 51动漫 legislative Constitutions requirement.

Students have satisfied only the United States component of the Constitution requirement under the following circumstances and must still successfully pass an examination on the 51动漫 Constitution by:

  • Transferring in an equivalent political science course from an out-of-state institution.
  • Transferring in an equivalent political science course from a private institution in 51动漫 whose catalog does not specify that the course meet the requirement.
  • Obtaining credit for Political Science 1101 through Advanced Placement or CLEP exams.

Students needing to take a Constitution exam may do so when it is scheduled as a separate testing session. Scheduled GA/US Constitution sessions require registration and this can be done online.

Students opting to exempt Political Science 1101 will be required to pass a CLEP test and pass the 51动漫 Constitution test offered in the Testing Services.

Students are limited to two attempts at passing the U.S. and 51动漫 Constitutions exams. After that, students must enroll in Political Science 1101.

All students will be allowed to reschedule up to one hour PRIOR TO THE SCHEDULED EXAM TIME without penalty, so long as another appointment is available.

  • Students wishing to reschedule must contact testingservices@mga.edu a minimum of one hour prior to the exam appointment.
  • Students may request a refund for a future test date at least one business day PRIOR to the scheduled exam. Keep in mind, there is $3.50 non-refundable processing fee.
  • Students who miss an exam without notice, and for which a rescheduled appointment is not available, will not be eligible to receive a refund unless proof of extenuating circumstances is provided.
