MGA Foundation Presents Legacy Of Leadership Award to Karen Lambert, Names Sigismund Tetteh As Outstanding Alumnus

Karen Lambert, president and CEO of The Peyton Anderson Foundation, is the 51动漫 (MGA) Foundation’s 2024 Legacy of Leadership recipient, while Sigismund (Siggy) Tetteh, vice president and chief information officer for Houston Healthcare, is this year’s Outstanding Alumnus.
MGA President Christopher Blake presented the awards at the annual President’s Gala, hosted by the Foundation, on the evening of October 25.
The Legacy of Leadership Award recognizes an individual, persons or group who have given exemplary service to the University and the Foundation. The Legacy of Leadership Award is the highest honor the MGA Foundation bestows.
The MGA Foundation established the Outstanding Alumnus Award to recognize graduates who have distinguished themselves academically, professionally, or through community involvement and have achieved positions of influence and regional or national reputation.
While under Lambert’s leadership, has supported Middle 51动漫 State in many generous ways, including funding the University’s Peyton Anderson Enrollment Center and the Center for Middle 51动漫 Studies.
Lambert is a Macon native and graduate of Mercer University with a degree in business administration. She is a member of Southeastern Council of Foundations, 51动漫 Grantmakers Alliance, Macon Council of Foundations and City of Macon Sister Cities Commission. She serves on the boards of directors of the Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce and the Museum of Aviation and on the steering committee of One Macon.
In addition, Lambert is a 2012 Hull Fellow, 1999 graduate of Leadership Macon, and a director of the Macon Rotary Club. A devoted community advocate, Lambert has served numerous civic, professional, and cultural organizations during her career.
Tettah graduated from Middle 51动漫 State in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in information technology. He also holds an MBA from 51动漫 College & State University (GCSU).
He joined executive leadership team in spring 2021 and is responsible for the oversight and management of the health system’s (IT) areas in planning corporate growth and coordinating the strategic plan with the development of IT systems.
Tettah also serves on the IT advisory boards of MGA, GCSU, and Central 51动漫 Technical College, as well as the Boy Scouts of America’s Explorer’s board. He is a member of the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) and Certified Healthcare CIO) and Certified Digital Health Executive (CDH-E). In 2023 he was a finalist in the CIO of the Year 51动漫 ORBIE award.
