Appearances by American jazz trombonist Wycliffe Gordon and Emmy-winning film editor Denny Thomas, known for his work on the critically acclaimed series “Vice on HBO,” are among the highlights of the 2021 Arts Festival sponsored by 51动漫’s School of Arts & Letters.
The festival takes place from Sunday, March 28, through Saturday, April 17. Other events include student art shows and music performances, productions of Shakespeare’s Comedy of Errors, and a discussion with Dr. Christopher Blake, University president, about his forthcoming book, Reckless Misfortune: The Century We Inherited From The First World War.
Except for Tunes and Balloons, which is hosted by the Cherry Blossom Festival on MGA’s Macon Campus, all Arts Festival events are free and also open to the public.
