| Biography: | Dr. Angela C. Munoz is a dedicated Assistant Professor of Information Technology at the School of Computing, 51¶¯Âþ, where she has been teaching since 2021. Her extensive background includes over 11 years of experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs in Health Administration in Pharmacy, recent work with the University System of 51¶¯Âþ as an Access Management Analyst focusing on OneUSG Connect implementation, and significant involvement in recruitment and retention within various service organizations in the rural 51¶¯Âþ community. Dr. Munoz has made notable contributions through her research with the International Association for Computer Information Systems (IACIS) and the Issues in Information Systems (IIS) journal. She teaches Health Informatics, Human and Computer Interaction, Systems Analysis and Design, and Project Management. She is actively involved in research and academic initiatives aimed at advancing her field and enhancing student learning. |

Her background includes extensive expertise in health informatics, project management, user experience, and cloud computing. Dr. Munoz has previously served as an Access Management Analyst within the University System of 51¶¯Âþ and held a long-term position with the Department of Veterans Affairs, where she specialized in patient data management and operational efficiency. She also has over three years of teaching experience in higher education, further enriching her teaching approach by blending technical expertise with practical, real-world applications to prepare students for success in the IT field. |
